About the Client
Vital Signs is an all-gender A Cappella group from Elon University in North Carolina. The group mainly posts cover songs from artists such as Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Ariana Grande, and Lizzy McAlpine.
Founded in 2011, Vital Signs began as a small school club. Over the last decade, they have continued to grow into a unique and electric a cappella group. Welcoming all identities, Vital Signs A Cappella is made up of unique individuals with a passion for making great music and forming a strong community.
Vital Signs has previously performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as competed in Varsity Vocals' International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCAs). Additionally, the group hosts an annual benefit concert at Elon for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Using Press Coverage to Raise Credibility
By creating and sending press kits to local new outlets, stories by WXII and Elon News Network helped give our email and social media campaigns credibility and a hook that would intrigue target audiences to donate.
Passing our Fundraising Goals
The strategy used ended up helping the group surpass their fundraising goals and raising $10,409 for the Central and Western North Carolina Make-A-Wish foundation.
Establishing a Brand
Elon's Critically Acclaimed All-Gender A Cappella Group
Creating a list of press and blog contacts, Vital Signs worked alongside critics from the Recorded A Cappella Review Board (RARB) to secure positive reviews for the group, build credibility, and extend overall reach.
